Amy Elkins Dickerson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Connecticut, a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor™, and a CT Credentialed TF-CBT Clinician. She is the owner of AED Psychotherapy, LLC, a private practice in New Canaan, CT. Amy earned a Master of Mental Health Counseling degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Arts in Therapy and Psychology from Russell Sage College. Her passion lies in working with children and supporting parents as they learn to identify, express and cope with emotions. Amy has also authored a children’s book titled “Maya’s Big Feelings Stressed for the Test” and is currently working on two additional books for the series.
